We stayed at one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen while on our quest to Richmond, Va. These cabins are the actual buildings of a former, I would call it, ghost town. We stayed in the former grist mill. Beside us was the former general store and beyond that was a barn that was reconstructed into a cabin. Across the road was a tobacco barn that had five levels for storing tobacco. Right beside our cabin was a water fall that descended approximately 50 feet over a course of 100 yards. The sweet couple who own Serenity Falls, the Blackman's, made taco soup for us "so that we would have something hot to eat".
