Prayer partners,
Please pray for Tess. As previously mentioned this past year she has been having some health issues, headache, stomach ache and low body temperature. The last time she had these symptoms Megan checked her eyelids and noticed they were pale, but looked later and they were normal. We took her to the doctor and he had a few blood test run, but only found that her white cells were slightly elevated. Again today Tess complained of a headache etc. and Megan noticed her eyelids were pale again and called our doctor here. He has asked us to bring her in on Thursday for more blood work an MRI and an EEG. We ask that you pray for our family during this time that we would keep our eyes fixed on Him. Please pray that the doctor is able to find out what is making her so sick.

The Duncans will certainly be praying. Abby refuses to pray for any other missionaries in our stack but you all.

Abby is almost four. A couple of days ago she had Hannah (2) at their little table playing dinner. She stopped them, they folded hands, and Abby prayed that God would help Tess feel better. Your prayer cards are in rough shape at our house.
So how is Tess doing?

I cant believe that Abby is almost 4! Give her a big thank you hug from all of us.
She is feeling somewhat better. It is not like a "normal" sickness where the child is continuously sick. She is "normal" most of the time. When she crashes it is usually some time between lunch and bedtime. She had another spell the other night and we once again took her to the doctor.
Since the tests that are being run are not turning up anything he suggested that we begin to prepare her in order to tell her that she is a hypochondriac... :(
Pray that they find the cause.
Thank you all for your prayers. Please also pray that we find someone to rent our house in FW. Our current tenants are going to be moving out and it will be hard to make the mortgage payment. Or pray that someone wants to buy it.

Dear Mike and Megan,
My kids have some letters for your kids, which brought me to your blog to find your address. I am always thrilled to see the amazing photos you take of the landscape and of your children.
I am encouraged by your articles. The one that especially touched me today is that our sin "knows no borders and wherever we go it goes too." So true. I wish I could leave all my sin in the US and fly to see you right now! We miss you guys so much!
Also, as I read the latest update on Tess, God prompted me to stop and pray for all of you...Megan (health and resting in God), Mike (endurance and wisdom), and your precious children, Jake, Tess and Joy! Might God give them a great joy and trust in the midst of the trials. Might God grant you favor, wisdom, insight, peace, mercy, trust, rest and healing as well. That is my prayer this morning.
Soon I wish to go to Dr. Darla's and use her land line to call you. It would be so good to hear your voices.
